Days of Future Past would’ve been the perfect ending for those characters in that universe. They could’ve still done Logan, but the main story should’ve ended with DOFP, which I consider to be one of the best comic book films ever done. I also count DOFP among the top comic movies ever. loved that one so much- was super excited for the follow-up... and then... BAM! Apocalypse was sooooo bad. There were some good bits in it- but after DOFP it was just such a disaster (Magneto's family being killed stands out to me as one of the worst moments ever seen in a comic movie- lol)
