I hear you! If I look back over the past 12 years, how I started out with the Stargate figures... with all simple white backgrounds. A little grass or sky or book shelves do wonders for it looking more real.

I always have been fascinated by brickwork. I work in an engineer's office industry, I draw plans for houses and bridges that get built. But mostly concrete these days.
