I’m not an employee, friend, affiliated, or connected to the store in any way, but I just saw their retail store in Salt Lake City (3700S & State), and it’s actually pretty impressive. Never realized they were even in salt lake til I saw a sponsored Facebook ad.
Was in town, so I thought I’d pop in with my wife, daughter, and nieces. Good variety of “entry level” collectibles as well as some more hardcore collectibles like some of the 1:6th scale stuff. Really clean and beautifully staged. I used to pester comicbook stores to get some of this stuff, and they were always leery of ordering $$$ collectibles. Megalopolis has it all out front, and encourages you to look it over. Neca queen alien toys on the shelf, instead of some out of reach corner display. Just unheard of in the 30+ years I’ve collected toys.
Prices are very competitive, and their loyalty plan works in store as well as online. Friendly staff. Really hope they do well. I miss the specialty toy stores.
