I'm just glad the X-men wave is already in the pipeline if stores are getting them early... otherwise I would be worried.
That's the problem though...with the X-Men wave already starting to drop in some areas...that's 5 waves this year already, in less than four months. And that's not counting the other stuff too like the two packs, vehicle figs and store exclusives. It's a ridiculous amount of new product to drop in such a short period of time.

Let's be real...Hasbro knows who their market is with these Legends figures, and it's certainly not children. And what happens is that collectors will often plunder waves of the more desirable characters when they release, leaving behind the Nighthawks and Gwenpools whom most casuals have no idea who they are and therefore cause them to pike up on pegs, creating all sorts of shrink for retailers to deal with, until they finally have enough with it all and just stop ordering and then...stop caring. They just want the damned things to be gone and for us to stop asking if there is anything new in the back.

Finally...maybe it's just me, but when was the last time one of you truly ENJOYED a purchase for longer than a day or three? I have found it to be impossible this year so far...because the second I get one, I'm already on the lookout for the next fig because social media is already telling me that the new wave is dropping somewhere. This happened to me today when I finally received my Hercules in the mail, and after tinkering with it for about 10 minutes, I found myself walking into a random Walgreens I hadn't been to in a while in case they had something from the upcoming X Wave. (They didn't, just more Namors, Gwenpools and Captain Marvel figs.) By the time I got home, I placed the figure in a bag, and began scouring Ebay for auctions and new in hand photos to look at.

I really wish they would push the XMen wave back towards June or July. Gripes about character selections aside, all of the figures released this year have some positive merits to them, and contrary to what Hasbro thinks, there can be too much of a good thing. A little patience to unload these things would be greatly appreciated to prevent saturation...or even worse...exhaustion with the line.
