My dad used to collect playmates Star Trek figures in the late 80’s/early 90’s and he tried to buy 2 of every regular release, but kept all the variants MOSC. We had our entire computer office/den covered in toys. The opened ones were on shelves, and the sealed ones were hanging on push pins on the walls for years. After 4 or 5 years, however, the glue holding the plastic to the card deteriorated and several figures fell out. Pissed my dad off so he sold everything.

Me, I never cared about keeping a sealed version of any toy. I open a toy as soon as I get out of the store!
