My only issue with Havoc (and the Fortnite line in general) is that the facial expressions are a bit soft. That's part of the game's cartoony style though and is not a deal breaker. Truth be told, those Jazwares Fortnight are solid additions to the 6 inch scale that work pretty well with Marvel Legends. Keep an eye on Jazwares...as they've recruited a bunch of folks who used to work with Toybiz for this line.

Again, the facial expressions are a bit soft, especially with the eyes, so I repainted Havoc's eyes to represent the white eyed look that Firefly would have in the comics sometimes when he was portrayed as the Faceless Master. Even without the paint job though, it's Firefly without a shadow of a doubt.

Onto Legends....

Been sitting on giving some more thoughts on the Professor Hulk wave, so here's a couple of thoughts on Rock Python and War Machine.

Rock Python: Not really sure what to say about this guy. I truthfully know very little about the character and outside of his Serpent Society association, I have no attachments to the character. What I can say is that outside the lack of accessories and maybe the character choice itself, there's no really weak points to the figure honestly. The body choice is a good one (Grim Reaper) and the colors are bright and bold. I love the contrasting blues, the paint apps on mine were super clean, and the headsculpt is really well done with some good articulation allowing for a ton of attitude. The lack of accessories really hurts, as I understand that Rock Python has a power set not all that different from Luke Cage, so some proper fist hands for punching, or maybe an overlay that clips onto the torso which show bullets bouncing off of him similar to the one that came with the Amazing Yamaguchi Captain America would really help him stand out a bit. Some python egg accessories would have been nice too, since apparently this guy lobs them at foes with deadly precision...

Cool looking and solid figure, but if you can get him on the cheap, probably your best bet. He'll eventually be peg warming the way other SS members have in the past I'm sure...

War Machine: Strong...solid entry, and one of the better armored figures we've received in a while. The articulation is pretty solid despite being somewhat limited by the bulk of the sculpt and the lack of double joints, but being that he's a larger armor, it's entirely forgivable. The weapon accessories are nice, but they are also my biggest complaint, as I wish that Hasbro would have taken a cue from their current Transformers lines and made War Machine a bit more modular with attachment ports all over that would allow attachments from previous figures to work. It would really allow him to stand out a bit more. The fact that the shoulder cannon doesn't properly store away and features extremely limited articulation is also something of a bummer.

If you're wondering, the older Rhodie head fits on this WM perfectly, although the helmet won't match the model of the armor. Still, it's easy to fudge in, until we get a proper head for it. My final gripe with this figure is like Rescue, and many other IM armors, he could use a bit more silver paint on areas where it's needed, the back of the figure in particular. It leaves the figure feeling somewhat incomplete, and leaves a feeling that Hasbro only cares what the half facing out of the clamshell looks like, and not the figure as a whole.

Really good figure and a must purchase, even if it doesn't match the film. It doesn't top the Mk 1 still in my opinion in terms of looks or aesthetics, but the MK 1 feels so tiny compared to this guy, who looks like a bad ass hulking brute who would take him to Suplex City. Hopefully they don't keep pumping up the scale of WM...pretty soon he'll be hitting Hulkbuster size...

War Machine Party!
