It would've been a great way to get the classic Doctor Doom and for Hasbro to re-release previous figures for characters like Daredevil and Doctor Octopus with all-new head sculpts and accessories (**cough cough** BENDY WIRE TENTACLES FOR DOC OCK, PLEASE **cough cough**). I am still hopeful 2020 will give us some more Hulk figures we can find online and sold in stores (and I mean ALL stores, not Wal-Mart, Walgreens and/or GameStop Exclusives nobody can find either).

I am also very disappointed that there's no Spider-Man wave of figures for the fall, or at least none we know of. After the lackluster Kingpin wave that's still sitting on shelves at my local stores (with six-armed Spider-Man, Black Cat and Night Thrasher being the worst offenders), I was looking forward to more well-known, fan-favorite characters like a new Chameleon, classic Electro, classic Shocker and a new classic Spider-Man. Since villains like Mysterio, the Green Goblin and the Hobgoblin were almost impossible to find in stores and online when they had their previous Marvel Legends figures out, I would've loved to have seen them re-sold. Heck, I would've even taken a classic Boomerang and an Overdrive for "Superior Foes" collectors. But having to wait until 2020 for the next assortment, and personally only the Vulture is a must-buy of the new figures, I'm very surprised and disappointed by Hasbro not releasing more Spider-Man figures.

Will Hasbro be revealing any new stuff at NYCC this year for Marvel? Does anyone know? If Hasbro does lose the license to make Marvel figures in late 2020 if they don't extend their deal, the odds of seeing fan favorite figures finally made into Marvel Legends like Firestar, first appearance Storm, Silver Centurion Iron Man, Ultron, etc., are getting slimmer.
Nobody knows for sure, but I'm leaning towards them keeping it. In a recent interview they did in Fan Expo Canada, they talked about what they were going to do for the Shang Chi movie, which isn't even releasing until 2021.

If they're losing the license, they certainly aren't aware of it.

I was also fine with passing on SDCC Hulk, since 80th Hulk is pretty much exactly what I want my Hulk to look like. Plus I only had money for one Marvel exclusive, and I definitely needed Benicio Del Toro and a smiling Jeff Goldblum.

I definitely want Grey Hulk though. The colors just really pop on that figure.
