Thanks for the replies and wish list suggestions of what you'd like to see for a retro/vintage Spider-Man wave. Personally, I'd love to see more Spider-Man waves, but I know my wallet would never let me.

@Nash - I like your picks for your vintage Spidey wave. I hope you're feeling better, by the way. For a female figure, if we don't get Firestar (which would be a BIG mistake on Hasbro's part to be honest), I'd say make a classic/first appearance Mary Jane Watson or a John Romita Sr. based Gwen Stacy with an alternate swappable M.J. head. I would especially love for a new Spider-Man wave to have some kind of Doctor Octopus figure with bendable wire tentacles. I'm still curious as to why Hasbro passed on it the first time around, especially since Toy Biz did a great job with their bendable Ock tentacles accessories. If we get a classic Doc Ock repainted, I'd love brighter suit colors more akin to the John Romita Sr. run and a new head sculpt of Doctor Octopus with blue sunglasses and a new smug smiling face like the Toy Biz Marvel Legends figure had. Since we're getting Superior Octopus next year, though, I don't know if they'd make another Ock toy so quickly, but it'd still be awesome. A new classic red suit Daredevil would also be wonderful, since I missed him the last time.

@Ultra Seven - I'd love a more classic Lizard Marvel Legends figure too, as the Build-A-Figure version wasn't as good as I was hoping it'd be. Then again, to be perfectly honest, I'd love new classic figures of Sandman, Lizard and Rhino, since not everyone can afford to buy the Build-A-Figure wave or the Build-A-Figure itself sold separately on Ebay for ridiculous prices. I agree with your list too, as a Steve Ditko looking Spider-Man would be, no pun intended, amazing.

I'm still hoping we see some kind of figures for Chameleon, Sandman, Rhino and Doctor Octopus (as I'm not a fan of Doc Ock's Superior Spider-Man or Superior Octopus identities), new classic figures for Spider-Man and his villains like Green Goblin, Boomerang, Shocker and Hobgoblin (preferably with alternate heads for the Goblins and a new better Goblin glider accessory for Hobgoblin), and the rumored classic Electro. Civilian figures like Peter Parker, Flash Thompson, Aunt May, J. Jonah Jameson, Mary Jane Watson and Harry Osborn would just be icing on the cake. Heck, they could even do Ravencroft or Raft prison jumpsuit figures for Spidey villains like Otto Octavius, Norman Osborn, Cletus Kasady, etc., and I'd buy those toys too.

@Tim (and everyone) - I am envious that you've not only found the 80th anniversary figures for $5, but that you'd found them at all. My local Wal-Mart stores haven't had anything new since the Build-A-Figure Molten Man wave. My most sought after one is 80th anniversary Captain America and being perpetually broke doesn't help matters. Maybe I can look again on the next payday. I just wish we'd get a Cap figure with an alternate smiling head, instead of the constant angry/constipated looking Cap heads that Hasbro has been giving us for the past few years.

Thanks for reading and I hope you all are having a great day.
