And what? New Joes in 2020? As big a Joe fan as I am... I am not buying Joes at 6" scale... Joes at 6" do not hold any nostalgia for me. I never bough any Joe stuff that wasn't 3.75" Joes... never bought Kre'o or Mighty Muggs or Combat Heroes or Micro Force.

It's impossible to know about Hasbro/Disney negotiations. I'm certain its for far more than just the Marvel merchandise. Disney has deals with every toy company, covering everything from Hotwheels to Avengers branded jacks.

Yeah, I can't see 6" scale Joes doing well. They'd appeal to a few fans who cross-collect 1/12 scale, but alienate all the fans that are heavily invested in the 1/18 scale, as well as all the vehicles. At 1/12, the only vehicle toys you can expect are motorcycles and hang-gliders. 1/18 has a lot more options. For me, as a kid, GI Joe was all about the various vehicles. The different soldiers were just guys to stand on pegs and sit in the vehicles. Without tanks, jets, etc, the GI Joe brand is no more special than the million other military soldier toys.
