I'll drop it. Mainly because this is the Marvel Legends Appreciation thread. In addition I don't think you're ever going to walk back an ignorant statement about a toy line that you seem to know very little (historically) about.

Take a deep breath everyone. Yes, this is a forum for Marvel Legends. I was a GI Joe collector from day 1. TV ads for the 1st issue of the comic book, toy line and eventually tv series. It captured myself and others just as Star Wars had ended. It was the 1980s. I don't know how a new line would do. I would buy 6" figures of the major characters but not a legion of Cobra troopers like I have with my 3.75" collection. The vehicles for Joe are great and compliment the line. There are a few no name lines of military figures that Target has dabbled with but nothing with the brand recognition of GI Joe.
