After seeing that the Walmart exclusive Jedi Knight Luke was essentially a reuse of the old Jedi Luke (right down to the removable shirt piece) with a plastic tunic and no belt, I decided to update that older figure on my own to save the stress of trying to track the new one down once it hits (Walmart exclusives tend to be figments of imagination in my area...as they never tend to materialize.)

Using the new Yavin Luke's head, I was able to modify both it and the Yavin Luke body to allow it for easy headswap, between the two. It was a bit tricky and required some forward thinking, especially because of the new neck construction on Black Series figures, but I managed to get it to work. The left hand from the Yavin Luke also fits well onto that older Luke body, allowing the skintones to match (although getting that hand off the older figure was TOUGH.)

I might pick up another Yavin Luke...possibly the exclusive version, so I won't have to decide on one or the other, but if not, at least I know this works well enough for the Jedi/Final Battle Luke and that I won't need to stress hunting for it.
