And IBTravs design is basically a reskin of the Green Ghost from episode a night fright is no delight. Literally the pose and shape is lifted from that character. The hands are the same as well as the "swoosh" on the skirt. He took a ghost character and fit a ghost character over the top. It's equally as likely that someone at NECA did the same thing. Similarly, the stance of Jason with his hand backward is a common stance used in Hanna Barbers cartoons. If you told a dozen artists to draw a picture of a character in a particular style theres a good chance they would all come back with similar results.
