My wife found Bebop and Rocksteady while out Weds but I didn't get a chance to open them until the next day. Bebops right leg snapped at the pelvis peg. I brought the leg up, then down, then up, and before I was halfway up it snapped clean off. All seemed fine. It wasn't hard, no tension, sound, etc.

I really wish NECA would change their plastic and their paint method. I've been heavily collecting their stuff since Gears of War in 2006/07 and it's been a problem for me since then. Freshly opened figures should not be breaking at first movement. Painting after joints are assembled means lots of locked pegs. They use more oil/lubricant now than they used to as well. Most figures I buy of theirs now has some in joint areas so it seems like they know there's a problem. And occasionally pulling a figure from storage means you'll find a broken joint, arm, or leg.

Anyway, I was lucky that I found 2 more Bebop and Rocksteady box sets when we went on an out of town trip yesterday afternoon. I have yet to open those to test them but I'll be returning my broken set asap.
