It's one of the many reasons I do not actually like creating your own character options in a video game. Not only can you never get an actual figure of that character, but more importantly, that character will never be able to have the depth and characterization that an already existing character has. I'll take Samus, Terra, CJ, Tommy Vercetti, John Marston, Kratos, Lara Croft, Nathan Drake, Leon Kennedy, Claire Redfield, Jill Valentine, Raziel, Kain, Cecil, etc over any character a game had me create myself.
