I've handled MK, Deadshot, DC Wave 1, and these in relation to recent McFarlane toys with the new articulation methods. They are improving. Each figure is unique, from sculpt to cuts, they aren't using a base buck. However, all key points seem to be added in, even if other things hinder it.

MK Scorpion and Sub Zero - has an ab cut, but the gi over it makes it almost useless.

Double elbows everywhere, but jackets and such limit full usage sometimes.

Rocker ankles, but the twist is limited and without a boot/thigh swivel you can't plant the foot.

One thing missing more than not - an upper thigh and/or boot swivel. Now, these things technically are not anatomically correct, a leg won't move that way. BUT, it's needed to attain stance since stretching and bending is limited, balance can not be achieved with micro second muscle contractions like in a human.

Bottom line, it's above some existing lines that are more mature, and you are getting paint head to toe and unique sculpts. So I'm generally happy, along for the ride as they improve over time. As I see the team at shows I'll try to relay these types of things to them. And I'm sure they read online all over the place.

From brief chats at Toy Fair, the core team are fully aware, it's about cost and convincing higher ups it's necessary. Which is in progress.
