Grocery stores aren't some magical place where everyone is immune.
Medical workers need groceries too.
If idiots are still just going out when they don't need to, they can get people sick.
If the grocery stores have too many sick employees, the store will close.
If the medical workers get sick at the store, they can't go to work.
Toys are not important now. The sooner we all just suck it up and deal with the inconvenience, the sooner everything will get back to normal.
The "lollygagging" will just draw this out longer.
So much this. I'm fortunate that I was already working from home, and our company is completely working from home except for one person that goes in to register payments that come in the mail - essential for the business I guess. But I'm fortunate that's not me. The rest of our company is at home.

Already having to be at home due to a pet that requires special needs, this isn't a huge change for me. I can no longer go to the gym on my lunchbreak like I've been doing, but I am finding ways to work out from home. The only time I've been out in the last 3 weeks has been for groceries, and once to pick up prescription pet food that I combined with a trip to target to try and nab toilet paper (which I was successful and while I was there I did pick up the new Star Wars blu ray). Otherwise, I'm not out and about. I'm probably making the shift to ordering groceries delivered as of the next week and just wipe everything down when they get here. I don't plan on leaving the house for a month, more than likely, unless there's an actual emergency. It's just part of the sacrifices we have to make if we're going to get this thing under control.

Almost every state has passed Stay at home (except for essential needs) orders. The longer that some few don't comply with that, the longer the rest of us have to have those imposed. And yeah, we don't like it, but it's as I said, it's a sacrifice we have to make right now.

On topic toy wise, I realize that the things i ordered are not going to get here in time. I'm not worried about it, though of course, I'd like to get them sooner than later. They just aren't a priority, like not getting sick and not passing a sickness on to someone else, and staying alive. There will come a time we can go out and search for our plastic addiction again. This simply isn't it.
