If you, or anyone really, wants to try painting a figure, try using some of Playmates TMNT figures from the recent CGI movies. There’s plenty of detail, minimal paint, and you won’t feel like you've ruined a good/valuable figure if you mess up or aren’t happy with the result.

Thanks for the insight on the painting, guys!! Definitely going to be starting with the baby steps, when I get around to undertaking this project in the future. Kinda excited about starting this one, now.
