Kingpin is comically large-framed to be sure but classically Fisk was also meant to appear fat, he was very round. This was to give it an element of surprise when it turns out he's actually quite muscular beneath that fat and is a very competent fighter, so bringing up E Honda is actually appropriate. Fisk's ploy worked quite effectively against Red Skull who assumed he was just up against a "fat man" before getting his ass handed to him.
