I must have missed that news, so I went to Google "brainiac spin master" and about the 7th result down, I get a Kohls result for "Scholastic The Brainiac Game by University ... I'm right there with you on all of those characters. The past few weeks, I've been looking for a figure I could customize into a Giganta.
