Well, the thread is 1/18th military toy appreciation so I'm betting most here would have a bias. I've favored 1/18 since before Star Wars.
The Fisher Price adventure people started it with me. You got figures and vehicles. They you had Mego do the Comic Heroes. Superman and Spiderman could team up to help the fire fighter rescue the wilderness ranger. It was over.
I have no problem with other scales. But 1/18 had the cross line scale consistency while being able to have vehicles that were big enough without being too big. The crossover to military preference was really inspired by G.I. Joe. They weren't my first military figures in that scale but the were realistic and had in scale military vehicles.
What is it about 1/35 that appeals to you?
