That's interesting! And a good thing I think. I wonder how many of those backers are from Dorkside and BBTS? Given the limitations of Hasbro Pulse and shipping internationally, this will be an option for some. I do see that no international orders for it will be fulfilled on DS's site right now but what I also see is it's likely they will be offered at some point - right now it's just a shipping weight/cost issue.
I think that's grand of them. I like DS. I try to order everything I can through them; the only things I end up cancelling are if I find an X-wave at retail first, then yes, I'm going to buy it and cancel. But I've left other figures I've seen at retail on the shelf because I want to support DS - they are local-ish to me, so that makes a difference to me at least.
Of course, the last three years and this year especially, seeing things at retail is limited because my trips are limited (to practically nonexistent right now), so having that online security is also great.
