I received the AOTC wave today in the mail from Dorkside today and feel like doing a mini review.

Anakin: Easily the most disappointing figure in the wave. The figure is a retool of the ROTS Anakin so it doesn't have the articulation and ROM that the Mace Windu and Ep.1/2 Obi-Wan bodies have. The figure it also missing the cloth "skirt" portion of his robes. The figure comes with a silver version of Vader's lightsaber, which is accurate to Anakin's saber in AOTC, but it looks too big in his hands. Because the figure is a retool, there is no way for the saber to hang on Anakin's belt.

Geonosis Battle Droid: Just as good as the original but with a new paint job. I just picked up the Heavy Battle Droid from Gamestop yesterday and they look like the go together.

Obi-Wan: It's just a new head and slightly darker robes on the Ep. 1 Obi-Wan body, but I really like this figure. He'll go great with the Jango Fett from Gamestop. He's probably my favorite from the wave.

Kit Fisto: This was the figure I was looking forward to the most. He turned out well but this particular figure is based on Ep. 2. I feel like Kit Fisto's portrait/overall look was stronger on the Clone Wars animated series whereas in Ep.2, he's clearly meant to be a background character. The figure uses the Ep. 1/2 Obi-Wan body.

Plo Koon: Like Kit Fisto, I feel like Plo Koon was given a better design on the Clone Wars animated series. The figure uses the Mace Windu body under a cloth robe. The robe isn't easily removable as it's sewn together in the front, near the neck. However, it looks like it could be removed by popping the head off and removing the robe like a t-shirt.
