I’m overjoyed to finally see civilian characters get love! I tabulated the Fwoosh Spider-Man vote thus far, and Aunt May is actually the most-demanded figure from those (followed bizarrely closely by the Spot). And it’s not just idle “yeah, I’d buy that” from the boards, Gwen Stacy has been really hard to find.

Also, yes, he absolutely could have been Nightmare. Maybe we’ll see the parts reused down the road, closer to Doctor Strange’s sequel?
