Now they need to do something similar with different Death Star sections that can connect to each other, with generic modular Death Star hallways. All they need to do is 6 sets (a control room, detention block, trash compactor, tractor beam control section, the abyss Leia/Luke swing over, and the Emperor's throne room for ROTJ), and a separate release of a generic modular hallway/blast door to buy multiples to connect together to each other or the different death star "rooms". I think that would be the better way to go for film accuracy/scale instead of doing a single huge Death Star playset that just merges all these sections together and compromises scale/accuracy of each setting (like what Kenner's Death Star playset did).
I definitely see this and the Carbon-Freezing Chamber as positive signs we could see a modular Death Star some day. Maybe it could be a combo of Haslab (scene-specific sets like Detention Block, Trash Compactor, Tractor Beam Control, & Throne Room) with non-specific set pieces like hallways, blast doors, control rooms, etc. being made available separately?? As for the latest offerings, I'm all-in on the Tantive IV set.

.. Reason: I forgot to mention the Tractor Beam control. That definitely must be an option for any Death Star Playset configuration
