Beyond Marvel trying to jump-start its movie juggernaut within the current context and climate (lol good luck, Feige), I understand the strategy of tethering Legends marketing to anticipated film ventures. However I think it it might've been better to go the comic route first, then work your way into the movie buzz. But whatever...
The Eternals are quite important to me as a dyed in wool fan of Marvel Cosmic and I'm willing to do my part and buy these even if the effort is largely a perfunctory one.
In any event Ajax looks decent, but the fig shown doesn't look at all like the Salma Hayek I've had a crush on for the last 25 years...
I agree on all points here. I was hoping we’d at least see a Sersi to go with the 90s Avengers we’ve been getting lately. I’m guessing next year’s SDCC boxset will be comics Eternals. The movie Eternals designs seem kinda uninspired to me, and the seeming lack of a Black Knight figure is baffling to me. Of Selma Hayek, my recent rewatch of “From Dusk ‘Til Dawn” agrees with you.
