Jokes aside, I can't imagine these or the movie doing well, I can't even read the wiki synopsis of the books without my brain trying to jump ship from boredom, and I'm a somewhat avid reader! (Graphic novels count!)

I read all the books ( aside from the stupid prequels ) and ehhh it was okay. Personally there are an assload of better sci-fi and fantasy novels/series out there that would be immensely better than dune. The coldfire trilogy by cs friedman comes to mind. Seriously its a frickin awesome trilogy. And lets remake the relic this time getting much closer to the book and then do the sequel reliquary.
