I sure hope that's not the case. I have zero problems with changing the race of characters (for the most part). But Kang should be a major villain. I doubt Kang's presence in Ant-Man 3 would be as the main villain. It's notable that most MCU characters are quite weaker than their comic counterparts but even then reducing Kang to just be the villain for these two heroes would be a big stretch. I'd hope his role is comparable to Thanos' appearance in the first GotG movie, a looming threat for later.
