The Onslaught storyline, Spider Clone Saga and “Venom eats chocolate to avoid eating brains” were three of the catalysts that weened me from comics after being a hardcore reader from the 80’s thru the 90’s, and much of the back catalog too. I haven’t touched a comicbook since. Wasn’t until the movies I started paying attention to super heroes again. I know people love hating the movie adaptations of storylines, but so far I’ve enjoyed the movies over the books in every instance, with the sole exception being Doctor Doom’s portrayal in the movies.

I read the Clone Saga last year for Spider-Man, but it took me forever to get through due to how bad it was. Now I need to pick up both Ben Reily omnibuses so I can complete the damn thing because I've read it this far, I want to see how the thing ends. I also want to know how Aunt May came back from the dead and what happened to Peter and MJ's child given that one is back in the JMS run and the other is not even mentioned.

I hope they don't use some cheap cloth for their cape like they did with the 90s Storm figure though. I'd rather they did what they did with the new Storm.
