Probably my only complaint about the set is that, and the fact I fear I'm going to break her getting the calm head on her.

After this one, no more Ebay for me for a while, even if it was on the cheaper side. But I do not have time to play on Sunday.

I don't tend to complaint a lot about little plastic figurines, but I've noticed a trend to get bad colour applications, stiff joints, loose joints, miss-aligned accessories etc, etc.

I got two Storm/ Thunderbird sets (one more on the way, FOR myself); a Rogue/Pyro set and. Deadpool/Negasonic set. This are the list of QC problemos.

Thunderbird: Stupid boot fringes slipping down would it kill them to glue them? (Maybe)

Storm 1: supper wobbly head, totally stiff leg swivels, lightning on fingers not painted (which looks like ringworm), leg seam with black paint. Scuff on right breast (both Storms have this, swimsuit ring not painted at all, right leg falling off.
Storm 2: no wobbly head, but both heads have miss-aligned tiaras, brown paint splash on boot, black paint splash on skin.
I do love the sculpt except I feel Storm should be a little more endowed, I fixed some issues, but why should I? These are not arts and crafts figures, nor cheap.
Solution, frankestein the three Storms into one good one. Sigh.

Rogue is mostly fine. Some White splodges on the green and a "skin" tag on elbow (yuk), and a horrible neck. Lipstick on teeth on alt head.
Pyro: dot on nose. I guess I'm using the other head. No choice.

Deadpool: splodges everywhere. Maybe it can be weathering?

Negasonic: good apps, great face but, but, hair is too far back, making her look like Ant Mcpalin (google it).
So, they are going all back in the box to be fixed at a later date after I move house and get my ducks in a row.

Side note: my Duke had the print of the middle of his lips above his top lip. I exchanged that one, as I can't fix that tiny "got chocolate milk?" detail...

I still love the figures, but it seems that invariably, when I get an order delivered, I have to boil the kettle, get my pliers/glue/varnish removal/acrylic paints.
I guess Hasbro wants us all to get arty.

Apparently, you both seem to have a similar issue...

Mine just arrived stateside from Taiwan and should get to me in the next day or so. I'm hoping for a better result.
