Birthday haul! The Marvel and GI Joe figures are all great but I'll have more thoughts on them in the appropriate threads.
There was a good stretch of time where I had given up on getting the Target Seekers pack, I only even really wanted Skywarp. That changed earlier this month when the set went in stock on their website and I finally nabbed one, this pushed me to pick up Starscream at Walmart since he was slightly on sale. I really like this Earthrise Seeker figure, the jet mode is fantastic and while not as articulated as most current voyager-class figures the robots still check off the boxes I wanted them to.
I picked up Joker on impulse, every McFarlane Joker I'd found before this one had bad eyes. In hand I like this figure a lot more than I did from online reviews, besides looking better in hand it handles really well too. I'm hoping the upcoming Rebirth Joker they're making is at least as good.
Finally I also stumbled across Baraka and Kitana and again impulse took over, I originally only planned on getting Baraka and even then I wasn't certain. These handle much more like the MK11 Spawn than the earlier figures in the line, which is good. I did have to straighten Baraka's left blade with a hairdryer but that was the only QC bump I ran into. I'm happy to have them and I'm really looking forward to Shao Kahn next.
