These sets don't seem to be in that great of demand here in the northeast, at least, not as of yet. Domino, which arrived to me from BBTS yesterday, and Mystique were also on the racks in decent numbers. The nab allowed me to cancel my BBTS orders, which makes me wonder if online retailers are beginning to experience some misgivings about the recent trend in Hasbro releases. There's been a spate of what can be effectively labeled as 'soft' or 'timed-exclusives' for Brick & Mortar retailers. I know as someone that would prefer not to comb retail during a pandemic, for obvious and practical reasons, it'd be nice not to have to wait six months or more for my online alternative of choice to finally make good on fulfillment of my order.

I totally get the point you are making and agree, for the most part. Collectors are pretty vociferous about their vehement hatred for scalpers, a sentiment that I find to be largely funny because some of the very same collectors often turn around and support the secondary mark up they disdain, creating a self-inflicted loop of misery.

I had to make a deliberate effort to put to bed any remaining FOMO urges years ago when I realized how silly it was to rush to be the first person to offer pictorial evidence of having a coveted wave or single fig. I rationalized and intellectualized my actions convincing myself that there was some valid reason, outside of hyper-consumerism, driving my behavior. Fortunately, I was able to get it under control.

All that said, specifically as it relates to Target, my Red Hulk experience was an unsavory one and I did buy a Strom/Thunderbird set from a Taiwanese retailer to avoid a repeat occurrence. I paid $20 more dollars than I would have at retail to ensure procurement and, in my opinion, it was money well spent for the peace of mind. Sadly, the set featured the jacked up fingers common for this release! HAhaha, of course! So here's where I thank you again, as the Target I went to yesterday also had 5-6 sets of the Storm/Thunderbird 2pack and I selected the one with the most perfect lightning hands and overall paint job. All's well that ends well...yadda...

Domino Side Note: I know bayonets on UZis is an actual 'thing' in modern warfare (go figure), but the advantage of range is nearly nonexistent when attached to something that isn't a long rifle. Will we start seeing bayonets mounted on hand guns next? I've no particular fetish for guns, but in my opinion you'd have more control and effectiveness wielding a long knife in hand if engaged in close quarters deadly combat with the intent to kill your opponent. Just sayin'...Maybe because UZIs are notorious for their inaccuracy, a decision to add a bayonet was made to increase the weapons viability as a killing device...
Hell I've already seen pistols with a blade sticking out of the grip, which just seems like a recipe for slicing your palm open haha
