There are so many ways to make an existing character appealing and release him/her in a way that would make it a new addition to your collection.

I think that if/when Hasbro gets around to giving us another comic Doc Ock (presumably with bendy tentacles) it should be in his Armani suit look, even though I picked up my Sp//dr wave Ock on sale I'd still be sour if the only way to get Otto with bendy tentacles made the previous release absolutely obsolete.

As for Sandman, I think it'd really have to be his classic attire. His armor almost makes him unrecognizable to the casual crowd.
