It's debatable what will pose better: soft goods or hard goods. I used to be big into 1/6 and even in 1/6, soft clothing ALWAYS restrict movements and posing. The same criticism can be said for soft goods: his soft jacket will always look like it's just hanging on him and will never look dynamic, his soft shorts will restrict his movement from doing crouching and other Spider-Man type of posing. Notice all of Mafex's pictures of him doing dynamic posing is him WITHOUT the soft goods. On top of that, at this scale the material used on the soft good will look thick, as can bee seen in Mafex's pictures as well. So it's a give or take.
