Yup, I agree with the above, I'm pretty sure that's illegal. That's why they always have someone watching the self-checkouts and there's a camera pointing at your face and the scanning area. One time I was at Walmart buying groceries, I had 2 bags of oranges and unbeknownst to me, one of the bag's bar code was smeared. It wouldn't scan so I took my second bag of oranges, scanned that and put the first one in. The light turned red, the employee came over and replay the video of the last 10 seconds of what I did, I showed him why I did that and he cleared the system because that was understandable. This is to catch people trying to buy an expensive item using a cheaper item's bar code. In your case you're trying to cheat a street date system, so I don't know what's the punishment for that. By all means come back and tell us what happened when you get caught. I'm seriously curious!

Not trying to scare you, you do what you do. I'm just saying don't say no one warned you should something happen.
