Hello! I have a personal museum of sorts, in my office. I have located most of the best toys I remember as a kid (and now as well! lol) and dated them, and then placed them on a timeline display.

I want to make some small placards with a small bit of information near some. I also keep a book about the toys, and will do videos about them as well, and am working on a book about what toys teach us, etc etc.

Anyway, the first toy I am working on is the Mysterians Tank Commander, like this one: Mysterians Mystery Robots - The Old Robots Web Site

"Mysterians Mystery Robots Tank Commander, a 4" tall (10 cm) transforming robot space toy made in China in 1984 for Marchon (USA). Item # 40020. Please see "From the Box" below for product features and actions. Featuring; Tank Commander with Moveable Cannon, Push button and top opens to reveal hidden head & space roving radar screen, Chest compartment hides retractable laser cannon telescopes by turning cannon control on back of body, Fold[out arms contains moveable laser gun, fold-out pods contain moveable hidden wire-track wheels, Body swivels for 360 degree scanning and battle operation."

So what I would love to know is if I have any chance of finding the original designer of this toy to give credit. I am also looking at the links betrween toy designs, starting with this one.

If anyone has any more information about this toy or old Marchon company stuff, I would be much obliged!

Thanks,

Beau
