THEY MUST! I think I remember from a Brian interview the variants would be right after the first main four turtle releases continuing the tradition of one turtle per wave. He also said they had cross license stuff ready to go in another more recent interview.

He alluded to what I think are the Universal Monsters because they have the license for all those ready. Star Trek maybe? Buuut that wave would be after another wave they want to put before, according to him. It's gotta be the four variants we all love. Sewer Surfer, Samurai, Space Cadet, annnnd Undercover. I bet they dropped the re-actions first because once the ultimates come out theres less incentive to buy this quite pricey alternative. They are ALL very tempting tho! lol.
