But it also feels kinda like I've been kicked in the nuts.

I totally agree about Godzilla. I swear they said they had access to the monsters too later on in the series. They still debuted new Godzilla designs, so no reason they couldn't do them. I mean some like Mechagodzilla, Mothra, Rodan would all be easy sells to casual collectors.

My only guess is that the nature of this will lend people to buying more than one versus monsters, but it's still an odd choice when looking at the grand scheme of things. I don't know NECA stuff so well to know if the figure uses any other parts, or if the body will be usable for other figures in the future either.
