Although admittedly, as I don’t know the character, part of me finds the microcosmic irony of what is ostensibly an unplanned but still surely indefensible “fuck you” to fans on Hasbro’s part to be kind of hilariously illustrative of how woke and dedicated to diversity corporate America really is. How in the actual fuck did no one responsible for the concept, execution, packaging, presentation, approval of the end product not actually read the comics that the entire wave was based on and catch this.
