I hear ya, I really don't like Marvel's approach to "new creative team means a "new" series". There were some events that sure, I could see it, Heroes Reborn/Return. That was the first time Avengers/F4 etc had ever been renumbered. And a few years later they worked up the legacy numbering which still exists to this day. The Avengers title returning after a 5-6 year absence due to New Avengers made sense as well. Jason Aaron's Mighty Thor w/ Jane Foster made sense as it wasn't the same "thor" at all, it was not just a new creative team but a whole new identity and direction.

Uncanny ending at 544 was such a random number, but it coincided with a new creative team, and a "new" book starting a month or two later....as if the creative team had never changed before? when the next volume comes out and we all know it will...it will be what? volume 6? At least there was a length of time between vols 4-5 and 5-and whenever the next one comes out.

New #1 issues may see a spike in sales, but that usually only lasts for the first arc, if not a whole lot shorter. Legacy numbering can be daunting for newer readers but keeps the whole thing in order a whole lot better. It's daunting to see a half dozen Avengers or X-Men volumes as well.

Edit: None-figure rant button off....what's next to release? my understanding is the Shang-Chi wave should be released within a week, maybe D+ soon..possibly the same week or next month...when's F&tWS's last episode? I know MCU stuff is not my bag for the most part, but it's time to get that wave out, and while the Shang-Chi wave is much earlier than I expected, if it's out it's out.
