I literally said they could make a Steve Rogers Cap later this year for his 80th anniversary while giving Sam this upcoming chunk of the year. I mean it. Go back and read what you quoted from my post to Benn Roe. IT'S LITERALLY IN THERE.

As for the Retro Cap, it's only every been released TWICE. Not three times. The first was the Cap-Wolf figure and the second was the Retro Cap. When Benn Roe mentioned the definitive Captain America figure, he was talking about the 80th Anniversary Captain America. It was a Walmart exclusive back in 2019. The 80th Cap reuses a few pieces from the retro figure but it's mostly a new sculpt. It even has the scale mail sculpted on the chest. There's no reason for Hasbro to sculpt an entirely new figure when a deco change and maybe a new head would work.
Don't worry, I know it was in there. That's why I said that Hasbro could do both. Also, I know that the Cap figure has been released twice. I've been a Marvel Legends collector since Toy Biz created the line. What I meant was I didn't want the body mold to be released for a third time when a new Captain America figure was made, is all. Perhaps I need to make things a bit clearer when I write my posts to avoid any confusion.

Also, the version of Cap I keep referring to is this which is why I don't want the same mold used for a third time, as it clearly wouldn't look right:

A smiling head sculpt to go with an angry or neutral head, bright suit colors, the chainmail is much less prominent but still there. Bonus points if Hasbro includes straps in the shield accessories again.

Like you said, they could make a new Cap figure later in 2021. Only Hasbro knows for sure. I still think they should've had more 80th anniversary plans for Cap.

You also have a great point about civilian characters, @jwyss234. Certain civilian characters would sell better than others and a lot of folks don't know a lot of civilian characters. But folks would know some more of the supporting characters from current M.C.U. projects. People know who Foggy Nelson is, they know who General Ross is, and everyone who's a Raimiverse Spider-Man fan knows who J. Jonah Jameson, Joe "Robbie" Robertson and Betty Brant are, even if the latter two are minor supporting characters compared to characters like Aunt May and Mary Jane. That's why I suggested changeable parts to turn them into other characters or to pair them with a super-villain in a two-pack from a comic book storyline. I just wish that Toy Biz did something like that back in the day with a comic book sold with them based on one of their stories so that fans would see why the two-pack characters were chosen and how they knew each other from the comic books.

I hope this post made things clearer. If I need to explain myself better, just let me know.

Thanks for your reply, by the way. I hope you all have a wonderful day and stay safe, everyone.
