[En Sabah Nerd]

Picked up Zemo today. I saw every figure in this wave except for Wanda, really hoping my later-placed Dorkside pre-order goes through okay. Zemo is definitely neat though. I always liked this depiction of the character but obviously he never had a cool toyetic design in Civil War so I'm glad they gave him one for the show. The Daniel Brühl head is a very good likeness, particularly when seen from either side, but the expression seems a tad off for the character (may be why it looks better from the sides). The masked head is definitely cool and except for the missing crown-type piece this approximates Thunderbolts Zemo so I could see myself fudging it into a comic group display. The assorted hands are all useful and nice, the soviet-HYDRA book is a good repurpose of Gwen's schoolbook, and then there's the weird golden gun. Zemo did have a golden gun in the trunk of his car where he had his mask in the show but he never used it, at least this fictional gun (the same type that movie Deadpool had) looks possibly built around a regular sidearm and isn't totally sci-fi goofy like Sharon Carter's from the Red Onslaught wave. Personally I like Zemo to have a sword though so I went looking through my non-displayed stuff and found a Wonder Woman movie figure sword that I think works pretty well for Zemo, at least for now.
