Major Bludd was always one of my favorite GI Joe characters from the cartoon. I saw him as the field commander of Cobra. Sure, Dr. Mindbender and say Firefly would sometimes lead missions, but most of the time Bludd was standing in the top turret of his HISS giving orders. That was the other thing, I saw Bludd as a tank commander of sorts. The comics though gave him a vastly different story, one that played up his mercenary designation more. The Classified series interpretation of Major Bludd draws upon a hybrid of the Comic and Cartoon looks, with just the right touch of modernization. Logistical issues with some of the accessories aside, Bludd might just be one of the best, if not the best Classified figure released thus far, too bad it's a Cobra Island Target exclusive.
