Obviously this has happened before. I remember in the early 2000s Cartoon Network put bright neon colors over guns in their cartoons and had them shoot poorly edited in lasers and removed blood. They also edited out deaths, which was flat out hilarious when they aired an episode of Gundam 0080 where almost every character died. THe episode was severely shortened and the plot made little sense because everyone kept disappearing.
Off topic, but you said you just bought Grim Knight, is he still available somewhere? Need him for my evil Batman shelf.
