But people value their opinions over the professionals, so it's better when they do speak up. It's just that people don't like to hear actors state their opinions if it's what they disagree with. As long as they aren't trying to harm someone there is no reason they shouldn't be allowed to speak their mind. Besides, the general populace are also the ones that prod them for their political beliefs and such. Actors aren't allowed to have private lives when it comes to their family and what not, so why should they keep their mouths shut when it comes to their political views? Why is that the line in the sand?
