I'm a fan of the original show, and grew up with it. I've been doing a re-watch recently (only finished episode 10 recently). I am going to give it a chance.

However, I am torn on it. This is a serialized show, not episodic, which means we need character development, and they want it to feel like there are real stakes, but DAMMIT this getting a little too Transformers: the Movie.
