Ah yes, Spikor. Sir Not-Appearing-In-This-Film. (Seriously, he appears for a few seconds as a disguised Skeletor).
Given how they are making toys for characters like Moss Man who appear for literally a few seconds, I wonder if Mattel just wants to quickly get these sold before the fans watch the show and realize how little it has to do with classic MOTU.

Mattel is to blame about as much as Hasbro is for the War for Cybertron show -they basically threw the franchise as Netflix and let them do whatever they want with it, thinking it will bring them marketing. Except in this case, it will bring them negative marketing.
I am not saying the toys are bad - nope, they are really good - but I am voting with my wallet and not buying a single one. I'll start collecting the 2002 show toyline instead. The new show has great animation and designs, and terrible writing that pushes an agenda that we have seen with the Last Jedi or She-Ra already. Except with She-Ra Mattel just told Netflix "nope we are not investing in a toyline for that" - however MOTU is their cash cow, they had to invest.
I can predict already that the shelves will be clogged with Revelation Andra and Teela toys...

Frankly, I think if you hate the show and what agenda it pushes, vote with your wallet, don't buy the toys. Given that Netflix never releases viewer ratio for episodes and shows, that's the only way we can let Mattel know what they did to He-Man and Teela and all these characters was NOT ok. Trust me they will get the message. Mandalorian, Clone Wars revival or Bad Batch happened because Hasbro told Disney about the lack of sales for the new Star Wars products from the new Disney-verse.

It's not really an update. They basically used the 2002 show's more bestial and large design, and removed his face paint.
