I was checking the old Toy Biz Marvel Superheroes checklist and saw that figures from the old wave included Annihilus and U.S. Agent. We all know U.S. Agent has had Marvel Legends figures before and is sorely in need of an upgrade, but I forgot if Annihilus has? My memory isn't what it used to be. I'm just glad to see more Retro Toy Biz Marvel Superheroes figures are in the works.

As for the new Retro Spider-Man wave, I have to go with Homer Simpson on this one, "Holy macaroni!" All of those figures are gorgeous. I am disappointed by Hobgoblin, but even that figure is one I'd love to add to my collection. I am curious, though, why Hasbro didn't just decide to make Retro "Spider-Man: The Animated Series" figures as one of the waves. Maybe they can in 2024 for its 30th anniversary year? The Retro Spider-Man figures that are must-buys for me are Symbiote Spider-Man, Shocker and Ben Reilly Spider-Man. Shocker, however, still has those same blast effect accessories. I was hoping we'd see some new "vibro-shock blast" effects for the figure, but some things, like reusing the same accessories over and over, never change (even when they should). Hammerhead looks fantastic, but it's odd he doesn't have a Tommy gun. I can overlook it though, considering the great new sculpt. As for the over-sized Retro Spider-Man figure, as much as I'm hoping for the Rhino, could it actually be Doctor Octopus? We did see that "Marvel MVL Legends Octopus" figure on the Amazon Mexico website, so maybe it's that? Which kind of Doc Ock, though, remains to be seen. For all I know, it could a Retro Doc Ock, a 'No Way Home' movie Doc Ock or an 'Into the Spider-Verse' Liv Octavius Ock.

For the new Spidey figures, is anyone else disappointed that we still don't have a classic Spider-Man figure with the three hands all of the other suits like Symbiote Spidey and now the Ben Reilly Spider-Man have gotten? I hope we get a classic Spider-Man re-release with the wall-crawling hands, a Peter Parker civilian head and maybe a "wavy-lines" spider-sense accessory. I'd also love to see the classic Romita Sr. chest spider emblem from the '60s with the spider's legs out to the sides, a la "Spider-Man and his Amazing Friends".

Also, what the heck happened to the Captain America plans for Marvel Legends? Will that be the next livestream, or for October? I thought they would've revealed something by now for Cap's 80th anniversary year.

I am curious to see what else is in store for Marvel Legends in 2022, especially with all of the anniversaries. I'm hoping we'll see some more Hulk and Thor Marvel Legends plans for the characters, but time will tell.

I hope you all are having a wonderful day and stay safe, everyone.
