It's not actually a new figure, just the differences for the heads. Comparable to how they redid the ultimate Jungle Hunter Predator with the swivel-hinge wrists instead of the balljoints or how the last Leatherface had a redone apron. I've seen the 2018 redo in hand at Target and in my opinion if you already got the initial version it's not a particularly substantial difference, not worth buying the whole figure over again at the new increased price compared to the first release.
