When it comes to my collection, it's just as much of a "who can I afford" as it is "who do I want". Since I'm perpetually broke, it's a lot harder for me to buy who I want than most collectors, since all of my money goes to bills, food, etc. That said, between Christmas and my birthday in January, I usually get at least two months of fun stuff as gifts from my family, so that helps out a lot. I was able to afford pre-ordering the 20th anniversary Captain America (even though I still wish the shield was whole) and the Retro Scarlet Witch.

For me, I only have so much shelf space, but I can count at least fifty characters I'd love to see made into figures and added to my collection. In terms of multiple looks for a single character, I usually stick to one, but there are some exceptions, such as alternate Spider-Man costumes I can chalk up to as alternate reality Spider-Men and the X-Men costumes from different eras. Like for Cyclops, the '90s Jim Lee suit is my personal favorite, but I'd still love new figures for his '70s suit and his '80s X-Factor suit (with a better face/head sculpt and without metallic paint, unlike the last figure that looked sloppy). Basically, if I like that figure and if I can afford it, I buy it. It's that simple for me.

I am curious to see what reveals we'll see for Marvel Legends in November and December. I am also curious to see which characters will make it into their Marvel Legends wish-lists this year after all the recent reveals, such as Vulcan and Iron Spider.

EDIT: I got to listen to some of the new Hasbro Marvel Legends interview videos, and man, they really need to spread them out several hours to a day or two after someone gets a turn to ask their round of questions. A lot of the interviewers kept unintentionally asking the same questions over and over about what they have planned for characters for the 20th anniversary Marvel Legends wave aside from the original four, if there will be more "X-Men: The Animated Series" figures planned for 2022 and beyond, if we're going to see more "What If?" or other Disney+ series figures made, etc. I also notice that Shartimus submitted a request for a 90s animated Doc Ock figure with bendable wire tentacles, like how the Walgreens exclusive Mr. Fantastic's arms were, and that Dan Yun said he tells Dwight he'd love to see it too, but that Dan said that bendy wire is costly. This is the second time I've noticed asking for a Deluxe figure of Doctor Octopus with bendable wire tentacles where one of the staff said it would be expensive for bendable wire. I'd love to know why/when bendy wire technology for figures got to be so costly and phased out. I still would love to see some kind of Doctor Octopus figure (green-and-orange suit re-release with a new head sculpt and white-lensed glasses, white Armani suit, '90s animated, etc.) released next year for Spider-Man's 60th anniversary year, since he's arguably one of Spider-Man's most popular and greatest enemies (he's also my favorite Spider-Man villain, so there's that, too).
