Great picture Bo Tef! And great likeness to the cover, as intended.

TBM I agree about coming up with something else for shell plates. Maybe instead of one large piece it's broken down into two pieces? It would bring greater range of motion but, then you'd have an unsightly gap in most poses, so maybe that wouldn't work after all. Like with Armor that was discussed, it's a tricky one.

Amazingly enough I got my Excalibur set today, I'm actually really surprised that once the UPS label was created, it went out and actually arrived so quickly. That's the last of my preorders at this point. It feels kind of weird not to have anything at all pending. But a good, necessary feeling. I wish I'd gone ahead and ordered X-Force now that it's shipping this month, but ah well, that's the risk.

Regarding Excalibur, Shadowcat looks a lot better in person, particularly the hair. I still think it needs a redo and hope for a closer to accurate single release, but for now, I'm oddly okay with it. I also think the sleeves should have been puffier, but it's not as off as the hair is.

Speaking of hair....Meggan is our hairiest Marvel Legend yet, outside of Medusa, which that was the whole point of her. I haven't tried standing her but I've read there's issues with balance. I can imagine. It's....a lot. And that headsculpt is really disappointing, but she wasn't ever really a high priority character for me, I can overlook it.

Captain Britain, this is the second....maybe third time Hasbro's released him? Or maybe it is just two and the one from Toy Biz. I honestly can't remember now if this is his 3rd or 4th figure. At any rate, he's okay. When you get to multiple iterations of a character, I'm usually less inclined to be interested.

This pack was really all about Shadowcat for me. And while she's not perfect, it's still money well spent as that outfit was a huge want for the collection. I consider that taken care of now, if not perfectly.

Now all we need is an updated Banshee, Avalanche, Angel, and most especially Mandarin, along with the rumored Viper, and the straight up "same outfit" re-done characters can be finished as far as I'm concerned.
